public face of Rotary in our local community, aiming to help local needs by
providing practical and financial help to both groups and individuals. Many and varied are the projects that Rutherglen members
support and get involved with. Here are some of the projects that we are
currently involved in, ¨ Organising our annual Christmas Collection for various charities. - Last year the proceeds were donated to Erskine Hospital. ¨ Organising Fun Events for Charities - A Race Night on 23 March 2011 raised funds for our Motor Neuron Disease Charity this year. ¨
An Outing – for disabled children from Rutherglen ~High School to Blair
Drummond Safari Park ¨ Holidays for the less privileged – For over 25 years the Club has organised these weeklong holidays now provided in our flat in Largs. To see the Duty list for the weekly Flat run Click Here
T ¨ Landemar Day- We support this major event in the Royal Burgh of Rutherglen's calendar with various fund raising efforts such as a second hand Book Sale stall. ¨
